We are seeking an experienced Account Director for an exciting and challenging opportunity within our brand management team. You will join LERMA/ at a wonderful time in our company’s evolution as a cross-cultural agency. Our Account Director will be instrumental in helping set the leadership tone, reinforce agency confidence and trust, and create the systems and processes to accomplish the client’s goals. You will have the advantage of learning the brand from day one. The ideal candidate will be an organized, strong strategic thinker with experience and a proven track record of managing projects from inception through production across all media channels while building strong client and agency relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Become the lead contact for one of the agency’s key accounts, managing relationships with both the client and internal teams to plan and execute digital and branding communications programs
  • Report to brand management principal to ensure the delivery of ongoing marketing and advertising campaigns and provide timely updates
  • Use client service skills to build strong relationships and deliver all program elements with excellence
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and passion for the agency business and client category to proactively bring innovative, big-picture ideas for improvement and evolution

Requirements:

  • Five to six years of experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, social media, production, research, finance, etc.
  • Experience managing projects from inception to production: digital, social, video production, and print
  • Strong experience with digital and social campaigns, comfortable communicating and providing POVs with the digital departments, keeping up to date with digital and tech trends
  • Extreme attention to detail and follow-through with all projects, conversations and agency needs, and business
  • Proven leadership experience and self-starter mentality
  • Able to work with and lead multiple agency partners
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Strategic thinker – big picture and small
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and writing skills
  • Experience following process for legal approvals on creative and open communication with business affairs
  • Able to work under pressure and find solutions for feedback, with strict guidelines and within a very fast-paced environment
  • Professional and adept, with a fun spirit and a can-do/will-do attitude
  • Able to work efficiently and develop strong relationship bonds with team members and clients, constantly communicating and managing expectations
  • Able to manage financials
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, strategic communications, or marketing-related field preferred
