Senior Brand Strategist

LERMA/ channels creativity for good through unmatched cultural knowledge, and our brand strategists play a pivotal role in that. LERMA/ is seeking a Senior Brand Strategist to join our team and bring their lived experiences and unique intersections of identity to the table. This role will report to the Director of Brand Strategy.

NOTE: For this role, specifically, the right candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish.


  • Conduct and manage research projects intended to uncover people insights and solve client problems (primary and secondary)
  • Lead clients and internal stakeholders through our branding process
  • Develop brand, messaging, and creative strategies for good and present them to key internal and client stakeholders
  • Collaborate with creative, media, analytics, and subject matter experts in the development and implementation of strategies
  • Lead the development of insightful creative briefs and brief integrated teams for the successful development of brand ideas, activations, and advertising
  • Demonstrate ambition by keeping informed and developing POVs on industry trends
  • Assist with new business pitches
  • Mentor interns and less tenured strategists


  • 3-5 years of experience , ideally some in multicultural advertising
  • A kind person, unafraid of having a divergent point of view (on the work or the world)
  • A hunger to learn about and experience life from someone else’s perspective (i.e., culture, heritage, geography, etc.)
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to tell a great story
  • Able to work efficiently and prioritize across multiple projects
  • Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Represent oneself and the agency professionally in all internal and external communications
  • Self-motivated, but works well with and contributes to an integrated team
  • Resourceful in problem-solving and troubleshooting
