Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Dashboard Development:
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize key metrics based on stakeholder input and best practices.
- Collaborate with data engineering to gather, prepare, and verify data from marketing sources like Google Analytics, Meta, Google Ads, and Trade Desk for use in Power BI.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Monitor marketing campaign effectiveness across channels and recommend optimizations based on data visualized in Power BI.
- Develop insights and recommendations in collaboration with SMEs.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal and client stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide insights through Power BI dashboards.
- Work with strategy and SME teams to recommend appropriate KPIs to measure performance toward client objectives.
- Create and maintain analytics documentation, such as measurement strategy, data dictionaries, and tracking references.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and Power BI to enhance dashboard capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Power BI (Data Analyst certification strongly preferred) and other data visualization tools like Excel, Looker Studio and Tableau.
- Familiarity with MS Fabric, SQL, and/or other Azure storage solutions.
- Familiarity with marketing data sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta, Google Ads, Trade Desk).
- Strong communication skills; able to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in an agency environment (4+ years preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical methods and data modeling; excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Fabric certification
- Power Platform certification
- Advertising analytics experience
- Agile experience
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Knowledge of database management systems and cloud-based data platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics is an advantage
