Brand Strategist

LERMA/ is seeking a brand strategist to join our team and support strategy development and growth on key client accounts. The right candidate will have one to three years of agency experience in brand strategy/account planning/brand planning. This role will report to the brand strategy director.

NOTE: The right candidate will have an interest in focusing on faith-based/faith-informed work (specifically, work related to the person of Jesus).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with and learn to develop insightful creative briefs and brief integrated teams for the successful development of brand ideas, activations, and advertising
  • Analyze secondary research to identify trends and inform strategic processes
  • Assist in the design and management of primary research projects intended to uncover insights and solve client problems (e.g., draft proposals, questionnaires, etc.)
  • Lead the insights portion of our branding process
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews with clients and other key informants
  • Collaborate with creative, media, analytics, and subject matter experts in the development and implementation of strategies
  • Demonstrate ambition by keeping informed and developing POVs on industry and consumer trends
  • Support new business efforts

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • One to three years of experience
  • A kind person, unafraid of having a divergent point of view (on the work or the world)
  • The ability to wrestle with data/information from multiple sources at one time
  • A hunger to learn about and experience life from someone else’s perspective (i.e., culture, heritage, geography, etc.)
  • A desire and willingness to work to improve presentation skills and the ability to tell a great story
  • Able to work efficiently and prioritize across multiple projects
  • Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Represent the agency professionally in all internal and external communications
  • Self-motivated but works well with and contributes to an integrated team
  • Resourceful in problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • In-office (Dallas, TX) three times per week
