Loaded Words marked a storytelling and creative evolution for He Gets Us, shifting from declarative messaging and a photojournalistic style toward a cinematic approach designed to resonate with spiritually curious and skeptical, pressure-worn audiences. As cultural noise inundates us, the work responded by changing how a message about Jesus shows up: less about telling, more about creating space to consider.
The strategy focused on unpacking everyday words loaded with expectation and reframing them through Jesus, not as commands, but as invitations. The campaign launched nationally across hero broadcast spots (Winter Olympics, Super Bowl, CTV, Times Square OOH, mobile billboards in NYC, YouTube, paid social, native, and digital) using high-impact placements to invite reflection at scale.
